St. John’s is committed to providing each child with a quality education. Tuition rates are set each year by the Board of Trustees and reflect a desire to provide an education accessible to the greatest diversity of families.

Tuition Assistance at St. John's Episcopal School
St. John’s Episcopal School is committed to making a St. John’s education accessible for all families. Our Tuition Assistance Program is designed to support families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds.

We are proud to partner with the Clarity Application to assess each family’s financial need. Clarity evaluates your application using the information you provide about your income, assets, expenses, and liabilities.

To begin, please visit the Clarity Application and create an account. The application takes less than 30 minutes to complete, is mobile-friendly, and allows you to save your progress and return at any time. There is a $65 fee to submit your application, and you may share it with additional schools that use Clarity at no extra cost—just select those schools from the dropdown menu.

After submitting your application, please return to your Clarity dashboard to upload the required supplemental documents, including:

Your most recent federal tax return (1040 with all schedules)

W-2s or 1099s from all employers

Any additional documentation as requested

The deadline to complete the financial aid application—including all supplemental documents—is:

Returning Families: December 15th

New Families: February 1st

If you have any questions or need assistance, Clarity offers in-app support via the “Help” button, as well as email and phone support at support@clarityapp.com or 206-210-3752. Support is available in both English and Spanish, and the application is fully translated into Spanish.
