Dear St. John's Community,
I am writing tonight because we are part of a widespread power outage in our area and there is no power at school. At this time, we are being advised that power may not be restored until as late as tomorrow afternoon.
Our plan is as follows:
If there is no power at school by 5am, we will call a two hour delay. This will be communicated by text, email, and social media.
If there is still no power by 7am, we will cancel school for the day. Again, this will be communicated by text, email, and social media.
If school is canceled, the office will be closed and there will be no extracurricular activities. The fourth grade field trip is cancelled regardless.
I will communicate with you as soon as I have more information based on the timeline outlined above.
